Flying vets

With a second and a third in the lead up to the National LVRC Criterium Championships a win was on the cards for Jason Edwards and he promptly delivered in the 40-45 A category. In the B event (45 - 49yrs) a three man break got away chased by a 5 man group with Craig Wilson and Ashley Holding in it. Ashley Holding eventually finished 6th and Craig 7th.

The following weekend the next round of the LVRC MSTina jersey series was held on the no recovery sufferfest that is our local course - Cutmill. The A and B event was held round 8 laps with many VCMs and CVs were in action. CV Tim Costello got away with Matt Seaton at around half distance. They were then joined by Craig Wilson and Ashley Holding who managed to get across the gap while yelling at Tim to slow down. The 4 man group then held on to the finish with Ashley winning ahead of Matt Seaton, Tim and Craig. Dave Larcombe then jumped away from the bunch on the last lap to be the best of the rest.

Reporting from CW. For those confused by the CV thing (there have been a few questions recently) - this is the Ciclisti Vecchi, which is the Meudon over 40s 'club' which also has members from other clubs but who ride vets races for the CV. And which allows Keith to order another set of kit. Hope that's cleared that one up.
