Stealth Larcombe and Dunsfold

This week vcmeudon.com catches up with stealth rider Dave Larcombe whose recent rides have somehow fallen below the radar. Cunningly disguised in a London Dynamo top until someone lent him a Meudon top to slip into at the last minute, Dave recently clipped off with two laps to go in the Dave Griffiths Memorial RR for 9th in his build up to the end of season races. He then slipped quietly out of the building before the prizes could be given out. This was followed up with an excellent 2nd in the (National B) Team Tor Circuit Races when Dave made a lightening strike into Somerset, getting - and staying - away with 1 other rider.

Meanwhile at Dunsfold a new twist to proceedings emerged with Glyn extending the handicaps. With some big  groups all working and a headwind, two sidewinds and a tailwind it looked like the E1 group would fail to contest the finish for the first time in living memory. But big efforts by Craig and Roger closed the gap at the end bringing things together with 200m to go. Jamie managed to find his way through the chaos just behind a couple of Norwood Paragons for third to consolidate his position in the series.
