Long time sponsor Cycle Kingdom in Fleet has now closed. Just a few doors along - you can't miss it - you will now find Pedal Heaven, a new much bigger and more modern bike shop run by your favourite ex-Cycle Kingdom staff. The Wednesday and Sunday rides will now leave from Pedal Heaven and you will be able to pick up club kit from there - always speak to Craig first before turning up for kit and remember to pay by cash or cheque. Pedal Heaven will also be sponsoring the Eelmore series in 2012. Here's some before and after pictures:

I was worried when I came down the side of Cycle Kingdom only to find the notice that it was closed. Didn't go down the road as I had parked round the back. Glad to see they've got plenty of room at Pedal Heaven. When does it open for business?
I am guessing the old shop didn't meet the Specialised requirements for being a branded store. Other blogs are reporting some friction between the old owners of Cycle Kingdon.
That must be the case otherwise why move 50m down the road and change the name with a good trading base in the area?
