Looby upgrades

Steve Looby is another new member moving up the categories. On a miserable Tuesday night at Hillingdon Steve managed to get second place in the 4th cat race to get the points he needed to move up to 3rd cat.

Gibbo first...to the yellow flag

"Cutmill 3's and I was perfectly set up for the finish. However, the planned assault up the finish hill failed spectacularly as my legs disappeared and my lungs exploded. The last 300yds went on forever and I provided an effective lead out and target for the six riders who crawled past by the line."

Jamie's value for money

Remarkably Jamie Newall managed to provide a full race commentary, perform in-bunch commissaire duties and successfully race this week, finishing in the points in the Cutmill 2/3 and initiating the successful break at Dunsfold, finishing 4th with Craig rounding out the top ten. 

Eelmore kicks off

Craig's first Eelmore ran smoothly with Steve Richards riding virtually the whole race in a three man break. This was caught by a second group containing Dave Larcombe near the end with Dave finishing 7th and Steve 8th. Gianluca took 10th and Duncan snaffled the last point in 15th. In the 3/4s Darren Franklin and Lee Mead both managed to squeeze into the top ten.
